Crazy Busy Summer

Posted on August 21, 2020August 22, 2020 by

I know Covid-19 affected a lot of people adversely especially when it comes to employment and income. I guess there has to be something good about being retired. This was one of my busiest summers ever.

Being called out for several searches with Colchester Ground Search, and Rescue we had both sad results and good. Training resumed in June so that’s Tuesday nights taken care of.

Then there were window replacements, kitchen renovations, making orange Covid masks for the GSAR team, and of course editing the current 150,000 word novel. Never a dull moment.

I topped off the kitchen reno by cutting a hole in the wall and building a spice rack between the studs.

Hope everyone’s summer is memorable for things besides Covid.
